Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BNDR VoiceEngine (“the Service”), operated by BNDR LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to them. They're written to be readable — if anything is unclear, ask us before relying on it.

1. What the Service is

VoiceEngine analyzes writing samples you provide and generates voice-profile files (a machine-readable JSON file and a human-readable instruction document). Analysis and generation run through BNDR's authenticated server-side gateway using Anthropic, OpenAI, or DeepSeek.

2. Plans, trials, and billing

• Free trial — 7 days, up to 5 analyses per day, no payment method required.
• Pro subscriptions (monthly or annual) — billed through Stripe, up to 50 analyses per day. They renew automatically until canceled.
• Lifetime license — when offered, a one-time purchase through Gumroad that creates an account-owned lifetime entitlement after server verification. “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the Service, including updates while it operates.
• Gift/VIP codes — we may issue codes granting free access. They are non-transferable, may be limited or revoked in cases of abuse, and carry no cash value.

3. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a subscription through the Stripe customer portal when that link is available in the account menu, or by contacting support. Access continues to the end of the paid period, then stops. Amounts already billed are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Gumroad purchases follow Gumroad's refund process; refunded, charged-back, or disputed licenses are deactivated.

4. Your content and your outputs

• You keep all rights to the writing you submit and to the voice profiles the Service generates for you. Use them anywhere, commercially or otherwise.
• You confirm you have the right to analyze the writing you submit. Don't submit someone else's writing to imitate them without their permission.
• Your writing samples are processed by the selected AI provider under its terms. Calls use BNDR's authenticated, transient Supabase gateway for entitlement enforcement. BNDR does not store the request body.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to break the law, to impersonate a real person without their consent, to produce fraud or deception, to probe or disrupt the Service's infrastructure, or to resell access (including sharing gift codes or license keys publicly). We may suspend accounts that do.

6. AI output disclaimer

Voice profiles are generated by AI models. They are usually accurate and useful, but AI output can contain mistakes. Review profiles before relying on them; you are responsible for how you use generated content. The Service provides tools, not professional advice.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and improving, but we can't promise uninterrupted operation. During a cloud interruption, existing on-device exports remain readable while sign-in and AI processing pause. We may modify features over time; we won't materially reduce what a paid plan includes during a period you've already paid for. If we discontinue the Service, files you've already exported remain yours and keep working — they're plain text.

8. Warranty and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BNDR LLC's total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms; if we do so without cause for a paid plan, we'll refund the unused portion.

10. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
